To Dwell in Darkness by Deborah Crombie

This is the sixteenth novel in the Duncan Kincaid & Gemma James series. Duncan Kincaid, newly transferred to the London borough of Camden from Scotland Yard, is investigating a deadly bombing. The bomb went off at a protest, but the organization responsible claims it was only supposed to be a smoke bomb.

Readers who enjoyed this book also enjoyed: Mr. Mercedes by Stephen King (Bill Hodges Trilogy), A Great Deliverance by Elizabeth George (Inspector Lynley series), and Still Life by Louise Penny (Chief Inspector Armand Gamache series).
