The Bones Beneath by Mark Billingham

This is the twelfth novel in the Tom Thorne series. Tom Thorne must revisit the most deadly killer he ever put away. Stuart Nicklin will reveal the location of the bodies of his early victims only in the presence of the man who caught him. Forced to accompany Nicklin to a remote Welsh Island, Thorne finds himself part of the twisted scheme of a dangerous psychopath.

Reader who enjoyed this book also enjoyed: The Stone Wife by Peter Lovesey, The Telling Error by Sophie Hannah,  and The Wolf in Winter by John Connolly.
