The Painter by Peter Heller

Jim Stegner, a well-known expressionist painter, moved to Colorado to start a new life after violence and loss drove him out of the Santa Fe art scene. Jim aspires to live in a peaceful, meaningful way, but his inner demons continue to haunt him.
