A Week in Winter by Maeve Binchy
A Week in Winter was published shortly after Binchy's death, and it is hard to believe that this is the last book by the beloved author. A Week in Winter is classic Binchy. The story is set on the wild Atlantic coast of Ireland with a likeable cast of characters whose stories are all intertwined. I was sad to turn the last page of the book, I felt completely immersed in the world Binchy created. There's not much tension or drama in this book, rather it is a gentle read about lovely characters and you are sure to enjoy it.
