Happily Ever After by Harriet Evans is a fairly typical Chick-Lit book. There's nothing too new here as far as the plot goes, plucky girl in the big city trying to build a career and find love. But what made this book enjoyable was the protagonist, Eleanor Bee. She comes across as very wimpy in the beginning of the book, but things are very different by the end. If you're in the mood for something on the lighter side, with a funny, interesting heroine, then give this book a try!
