A Walk Across the Sun by Corban Addison

Seventeen year old Ahalya Ghai and her 15 year old sister Sita are left orphaned and homeless after a tsunami tears apart their coastal home in India. Everything they know and everyone they've known is erased. They are abducted and sold to a Mumbai brothel.
Washington D.C. lawyer, Thomas Clarke pursues a pro bono sabbatical working for an NGO in India prosecuting their human traffickers and fighting a corrupt judicial system. Learning about the sisters, he sets out to personally rescue them where he encounters an international web of horror.
